What is this job about

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, security, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• ✅ Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as VPC, IAM, ECS, CloudWatch, and S3.
• ✅ Implement and maintain Terraform to utomate cloud infrastructure rovisioning.
• ✅ Utilize Docker, Kubernetes and Istio to deploy and manage scalable applications.
• ✅ Implement and maintain observability best practices by integrating distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry), log aggregation (ELK, CloudWatch Logs, Fluentd), and metrics collection (Prometheus, Grafana) to gain deep visibility into system performance and reliability.
• ✅ Develop and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless build, test, and deployment processes.
• ✅ Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch for proactive issue resolution.
• ✅ Perform day-to-day AWS RDS ostgreSQL DBA activities, including ackup, tuning, and query optimization.
• ✅ Ensure security best practices are followed across infrastructure and applications.
• ✅ Identify and resolve system performance issues, perform root cause analysis, and engage in on-call support rotations.
• ✅ Replace manual processes with transparent automation using Python/Bash scripting and DevOps tools.
• ✅ Work closely with developers, QA, nd operations teams to ensure smooth oftware delivery.

Key Skills

• MUST HAVES: • ✅ 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar role. • ✅ Strong AWS expertise (VPC, IAM, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch). • ✅ Proficient in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • ✅ Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • ✅ Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, Fedora, etc.). • ✅ Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD preferred). • ✅ Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation. • ✅ Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch). • ✅ Strong troubleshooting & debugging skills. • ✅ Ability to work in a distributed team environment with effective communication. • ✅ Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• NICE to HAVE: • ⭐ Experience with AWS Lambda & Serverless Framework. • ⭐ Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet). • ⭐ Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager for secret management. • ⭐ Familiarity with zero-trust security models and cloud security best practices. • ⭐ Exposure to FinTech or highly regulated industries.
• EDUCATION: BSc/BCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
