What is this job about
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development & Sales Specialist to join our Mumbai team. This is a full-time, hybrid role (some work-from-home flexibility) reporting directly to the West Zonal Head. This role will own Sales & Business Development activity for their region. The incumbent will need to connect with various MFDs/WMs on a continuous basis. Also generate leads for other regions. Person should have great Communication skills and Superb connect with the MFD community. Confidence to generate revenue in his region and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the West Zonal Head to achieve regional sales and business development goals.
- Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities in Mumbai and other geographies. Generate leads for other regions and Enterprise teams of CE
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and apply them to improve development processes.
- Collect infomation on available Systems from other players in the industry serving the MFDs. Share the information with the HOD and Product team
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with IFAs, MFDs, and financial institutions.
- Present and demonstrate the Compoundexpress platform’s capabilities, including mutual fund transactions, portfolio analytics, LAMF solutions, and other financial products CRM tools, and campaign management features.
- Conduct training sessions, webinars, and in-person workshops for client teams.
- Support clients post-on boarding, ensuring they can effectively use the platform to grow their business.
- Collaborate with product and support teams to address client feedback and enhance the user experience.
- Creating own MFD, IFA distribution channels
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Key Skills
- MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 8-12years of proven experience in Finance sales, Mutual Fund Sales, Investment sales, Fintech Software Sales.
- Prior experience with investment houses, AMCs, or fintech companies is mandatory. Experience of interactions and Sales, with MFDs, IFAs & WMs. Strong existing network of IFAs and MFDs in Mumbai (highly preferred).
- Should have an ability to work independently with minimal supervison and as part of a team. Ability to collaborate closely with leadership.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of Local Languages is expected
- Candidates with a database of active MFDs will be preferred
- Experience of selling software .. Candiates who have worked with Investwell, Vijaya, RedVision, CAMs, are preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Additional Skills: Relationship management with financial intermediaries & Lead generation and pipeline management
